Submissions not qualifying for the first round
Submissions to both competition tracks that fail to go through to the first round selection will automatically be considered for a separate innovation competition run by The Cleantech Open called The Global Ideas Competition (an official activity of Global Entrepreneurship Week). Entrants will compete to represent South Africa in the Global Finals in November 2011 amongst a diverse range of entrepreneurs, ideas and nations. We hope that a South African cleantech idea will bring the Global Prize back to the Republic.
